The artist mediates beauty to the world, whether that beauty takes the form of illumination of the senses through aesthetics, clarity of thought through conception, or the encapsulization of the horrible truth of catastrophic personal or societal events through transcription. Art, more than any other human endeavor transcends time visibly and links human to human and spirit to spirit over all history. Art cannot survive without those who evidence more than interest. To flourish, art must rely on those who actively participate in its making through its support. Henceforth each student attending this school, or any person attending an exhibition, lecture or event associated with the San Francisco Studio School, who benefits from that association is indebted to the Founding Patrons both anonymous and as acknowledged here. Without their generosity, faith and commitment the school would not exist.
The SF Studio School is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. As an arts educational organization, the school depends on the generosity of the those patrons supporting the arts community. If you are interested in supporting the school and its various programs, please contact us directly at info@sfstudioschool.org or 415-398-4300. |
